Enterprise Systems (ES) - also called Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) - are key IT assets to deal with these challenges. They enable industrial organizations and public administrations to integrate, coordinate and evolve their business processes across functional and organization boundaries and to effectively exploit information for sustaining success of the enterprises.
