Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) are integrations of computation systems and physical processes. With the rapid development of Internet of Things and Cloud Computing, modern city infrastructures have evolved into multidimensional heterogeneous cyber-physical systems with continuous coupling interactions between human, computers, and robots. In particular, robots play an increasingly significant role in autonomous driving, logistics and manufacturing. The robots not only involve the ability to monitor events from sensor data, but also must have the capability to use intelligence to control or manipulate objects in the physical world. The design, construction and verification of cyber-physical interactions with robots pose a multitude of technical challenges that must be addressed by a cross-disciplinary community of researchers and educators.
The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss and share their research and development experiences. We welcome contributions within a broad range of cyber-physical interactions with robots, including transportation, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, and logistics. Our goal is to have a single-track meeting with lively scientific discussions and fruitful exchange of views.
