First International ICST Workshop on Network Coding in Wireless Relay Networks (NRN 2011)

Aug. 16, 2011 Harbin, P.R. China

http://www.chinacom.org/2011/NRN2011/

Network coding offers a new paradigm for network communications and has generated abundant research interest in wireless communications, information and coding theory, networking, switching, etc. The workshop "First International ICST Workshop on Network Coding in Wireless Relay Networks (NRN 2011)" is devoted to recent advances on network coding and its applications to wireless communications systems and networks. This workshop brings together members of the communications, information and network theory, and signal processing communities, working in both academia and industry. The workshop will be held in conjunction with CHINACOM 2011 on Aug. 16th, 2011 in Harbin, China.

We are seeking original contributions that have not been published in any other journal or conference. All accepted and presented papers will be included in the CHINACOM Proceeding and IEEE Xplore, and be indexed by the Engineering Index (EI). Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in the following areas (but not limited to):

Network coding theory
Shannon theory for network coding
Network coding in the physical layer
Joint source coding and network coding
Joint channel coding and network coding
Practical applications and evaluations of network coding
Implementation aspects of network coding
Robustness, energy, synchronization, or delay aspects of network coding
Security and error correction for network coding
Network coding for distributed storage

Any other papers related to network coding in mesh, sensor, ad hoc or wireline networks, as well as cooperative and relaying techniques in wireless networks are all welcome. Please submit your papers via https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=nrn201...

If you have any questions, feel free to contact wangw-AT-zju.edu.cn or wfgang-AT-gmail.com.
