MISI 2011 - First international Conference on Massive Information Sharing and Integration
Topics/Call fo Papers
Integration and sharing of data, information and knowledge is a fundamental corner stone for every business to take right decisions for their growth. Today, information is shared across organizations and then correlated to their business matrix for business intelligence. The next wave lies on the development of next generation applications over social and enterprise data together and providing cloud based data services to end-users and enterprises. This new area opens up many challenging research and practical problems from data semantics to conflict resolution to data integration.
This conference is aiming at bringing together researchers and industry practitioners to discuss and exchange their thoughts, latest research results and industry experiences in this area. The conference will focus on the one hand on the novel methods and techniques of sharing / integration of information, data and knowledge and on the other hand on novel applications based on these techniques in different domains
The following topics are of interest, but not limited to:
Data Semantics
Data Interoperability
Data Federation
Ontology alignment and integration
Spatio-temporal aspects of data sharing and integration
Event based information sharing and integration
Data Mash-up techniques
Scientific Mash-ups/Interoperation of scientific data
Organizational and governance aspects of data sharing and integration
Synthesizing multiple knowledge models and networks
Integration of Workflow Systems
Learning Aspects of Knowledge Integration
Data Management as a Service over cloud
Context Oriented Information Integration
Multi-agent based approaches
Application of social network analysis techniques
Sharing/integrating in the different application domains, such as
?Health, Finance, Retail, Telecom
?Location Based Applications
?Mobile Computing
?Mobile Ad Hoc Collaborative Working Environment
?Future internet
