2019 4th International Conference on Water Pollution Control Engineering (WPCE 2019) is a wokshop of CEESD 2019, which is co-organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE), Xiamen University of Technology and International Society for Environmental Information Sciences (ISEIS),technical sponsored by Xiamen Ocean Vocational College and Fujian Smart City Association. WPCE 2019 will take place in Xiamen, China from Dec. 5-7, 2019. WPCE 2019 is a not-to-be-missed opportunity that distills the most current knowledge on a rapidly advancing discipline in one conference. Join key researchers and established professionals in the field of Water Pollution Control Engineering as they assess the current state-of-the-art and roadmap crucial areas for future research.

Prof. Gordon Huang, University of Regina, Canada
Dr. Gordon Huang is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Energy and Environment, and Executive Director of the Institute for Energy, Environment and Sustainable Communities at the University of Regina, Canada.Since the 1990s, Huang has led over 150 research projects, produced over 800 peer-refereed international journal papers (with an SCI-based H-index of 56 in Science Citation Index under Thomson Reuters' Web of Science).
Prof. Yongping Li, Beijing Normal University, China
Dean, College of Environmental Science and Engineering, She has produced over 270 peer-refereed international journal papers (with an SCI-based H-index of 35 in Science Citation Index under Thomson Reuters' Web of Science), and supervised over 50 Master/PhD students. Dr. Li was received a number of awards such as Distinguished Young Scientist Award, New Century Excellent Talents in University, the National Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar, the National Award for Youth in Science and Technology, and the National Award for Youth Female Scientist.
Prof. Qingyun Duan, Hohai University, China
Qingyun Duan is a National Chair Professor and Chief Scientist from College of Hydrology & Water Resources, Hohai University now.Dr. Duan has published over 150 peer-refereed papers in SCI top international academic journals. He is a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union and the American Meteorological Society.He is the developer of several operational hydrological models used in US National Weather Service.
Prof. Caterina Valeo, University of Victoria, Canada
Dr. Caterina Valeo is a Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria and a Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia. Her research interests and areas of application are wide and varied and range from researching the impacts of global scale changes on forestry and water supply to developing sensors and models to describe the role of bacteria and biofilm in treating polluted water. She has more than 200 publications including 3 co-authored books on topics as diverse as Environmental Hydraulics and Digital Terrain Modelling.
Prof. Guangwei Huang, Sophia University, Japan
Dr. Huang is a Professor in Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Sophia University, Japan and also serves as the Director of the Institute for Studies of the Global Environment, which is a cross-disciplinary research organization within Sophia University.Passionate about water, his study evolved from fluid dynamics to water quality modeling and to integrated watershed science and management. In recent years, his main research focus is sustainability science from water perspective such as wetland conservation and wise use, integration of flood risk analysis with urban planning and innovative water resources development as well.
Prof. Zhiwei Zhu, University of Alberta, Canada
Dr. David Z. Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada where he has been a faculty member since 1997. He is now also in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Ningbo University, Zhejiang, China. His research focuses on environmental hydraulics and eco-hydraulics, with particular applications in urban drainage and sustainable hydropower development. He is a Fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering, and the Canada’s NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Urban Drainage. He published close to 200 SCI papers, and received a number of awards, including CSCE Dagenais Award for outstanding contributions in hydrotechnical engineering in Canada, ASCE 2017 Samuel Arnold Greeley Award, and 2018 Karl Emil Hilgard Prize.
