2019 International Conference on Industrial Applications of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence(BDAI 2019) will be held at Shanghai, China during Oct. 18-20, 2019! The conference is organized by Fudan University, technical sponsored by Donghua University,Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME) and Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE). The conference is an international forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of Industrial Applications of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. We warmly welcome prospected authors submit new research papers to BDAI 2019, and share the valuable experiences with the scientist and scholars around the world.
●Publication and Indexing
All the registered and presented papers will be published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), which will be indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Science (CPCI-S)(Thomson Reuters, Web of Science), Inspec and other indexing organizations. Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in international journals.
●Keynote Speaker
1.Prof. Dan Zhang, York University, Canada
Dr. Dan Zhang is a Kaneff Professor and Tier 1 York Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics at York University.Dr. Zhang is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE), a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), a Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and a Fellow of Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME), a Senior Member IEEE, and a Senior Member of SME.
Dr. Zhang's research interests include robotics and mechatronics; high performance parallel robotic machine development; sustainable/green manufacturing systems; rehabilitation robot and rescue robot.
2.Prof. Cheng-Zhong Xu.University of Macau, Macau
Dr. Cheng-Zhong Xu, IEEE Fellow, is the Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau and a Chair Professor of Computer and Information Science. He also holds a courtesy position as the Director of the Center for Cloud Computing in Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Wayne State University and the Director of Advanced Computing and Digital Engineering of SIAT. Dr. Xu's main research interests lie in parallel and distributed computing and cloud computing, in particular, with an emphasis on resource management for system's performance, reliability, availability, power efficiency, and security, and in big data and data-driven intelligence applications. The systems of particular interest include distributed systems and the Internet, servers and cloud datacenters, scalable parallel computers, and wireless embedded devices and mobile edge systems.
3. Prof. Vasant Honavar, The Pennsylvania State University, USA
He currently holds the Edward Frymoyer Endowed Chair of IST. He is also the founding Director of the Center for Big Data Analytics and Discovery Informatics, Associate Director of the Institute for Cyberscience, Co-Director of the NIH-funded Biomedical Data Sciences PhD program, and Informatics lead (research) for the NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute. Prior to joining Pennsylvania State
University, Honavar served on the faculties of Computer Science, Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Neuroscience, and Human-Computer Interaction at Iowa State University (1990-2013) and as a program director in the Information and Intelligent Systems Division of the National Science Foundation (NSF) (2010-2013) where he led the Big Data Science and Engineering Program and contributed to multiple other programs.
4. Prof. Seiji Hashimoto GUNMA University, Japan
Since 2002, he has been a research associate in Department of Electronic Engineering, Gunma University, where he is now Professor in the Division of Electronics and Informatics. He has consulted for companies in control and energy applications and been a visitor professor in China. He has more than 100 refereed articles and 10 granted and pending patents.His research interests include system identification,motion control, vibration control, energy regenerationand its application to industrial fields. He is currently member of IEEE, IEEJ and SICE.
5. Prof. Jingsong Bao Donghua University, China
His main research interests include AI-assisted smart manufacturing, VR and Human-Computer Interaction Technology, Big Data & Industrial Cloud & Information Visualization Technology for Engineering. He has published over 40 SCI/EI Journals and hosted over 20 national & provincial fund projects in the field of AI, Intelligent manufacturing, Machine learning, Industrial big data and so on.
6. Dr. Haijun Shan Zhejiang Lab, China
Before joining in Zhejiang Lab, he was a senior engineer in Central Software Research Institute of Huawei and participated in the research and development of deep learning platforms, from 2015 to 2018. His main research interests are machine learning, computer vision, and cloud computing. Dr. Shan has combined background in academic research and enterprise project development. He participated and led in 4 scientific research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation. As a subsystem architect, he has been in charge of two major technological innovation projects in Huawei. Published 5 SCI / EI papers and applied for 7 invention patents.
