Topics/Call fo Papers
The Chinese Committee for Biomaterials (CCBM) and the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB) are pleased to announce the 3rd Chinese-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine, which will be held at the beautiful city of Nanjing in China from 4th to 8th April 2011, we warmly invite you to participate in this Symposium.
After the successful first joint symposium held in Suzhou (China) on April 2006 and second conference held in Bacelona (Spain) on November 2009, the 3rd Symposium will be the perfect opportunity for European and Chinese researchers to gather together again. This symposium will share the latest highlights and achievements in biomaterials and tissue engineering, the future trends and challenges will also be discussed. This conference will benefit and promote the biomaterials in Regenerative medicine research and higher education, and will provide the most suitable platform for networking and partnering and will for sure promote EU-China collaborations.
Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province, had served as ancient metropolis of six dynasties with several thousand-year-long histories; it is indeed one of the four major ancient capitals in China. Nanjing is located on downstream of the Yangzi River which forms the most active economic zone of China. The unique combination of modernity and ancient civilization makes Nanjing among the most attractive cities in China as well as in the world. Nanjing Normal University is one of the earliest universities in China.
Nanjing has a pleasurable weather in April. We look forward to meeting you in Nanjing, China on April, 2011.
Sincerely,
Xingdong Zhang, Sichuan University (China)
Luigi Ambrosio, Institute of Composites & Biomedical Materials (Italy).
Jian Shen, Nanjing Normal University (China)
