INTRODUCTION
Cloud for High Performance Computing is a hot research topic in Computational Science. The first edition of the International Workshop on Cloud for High Performance Computing, organized as a session of the 11th International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications, will represent a great opportunity for the scientists to exchange ideas and progresses made in Virtualization techniques and Cloud Computing solutions for implementing High Performance Computing environments.
We invite you to submit a PAPER (from 10 to 16 pages) to be published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes for Computer Science book series. We also accept POSTER submissions (from 3 to 4 pages), formatted according to the IEEE CPS layout.
For formatting instructions and for downloading the LNCS or the IEEE CPS templates, please visit the "Authors' Instructions" section of the ICCSA 2011 web site: http://www.iccsa.org/authors-instructions
The submission of the papers and posters represents for the author an implicit expression of intention to register to ICCSA 2011 Conference and to participate to C4HPC 2011 workshop sessions.
Each paper must be original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors). Each paper will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field ensuring the publication of only top quality contributions.
WORKSHOP THEMES
The C4HPC session is accepting contributions in the following topics:
1. Virtualization for HPC;
2. Automatic management;
3. Management of clusters on Cloud;
4. Monitoring tools for infrastructure and applications;
5. Performance of HPC applications on Cloud;
6. Fault tolerance;
7. Elasticity and scalability for HPC on cloud;
