Call for Papers / Participation
Risk Management in its various characteristics plays an important role in the scientific community as well as in industry and the public sector. In order to respond to new threats that are arising from changes in the environment and markets, we need to develop new and innovative techniques, methods, or applications to deal with risk. Building on the success of last year’s event, this conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners in academia, industry and government to present and discuss their latest findings in the area of Risk Management Planning, Emergency Planning and Fire Safety Management.
This free-to-attend conference welcomes papers from researchers and practitioners studying risk and risk management related to (not limited) to the following areas of interest:
* Emergency and Crisis Response / Management
* Resource Allocation and Cost Reduction
* Information Systems for Risk Management Planning
* Fire Safety Management
* (Fire-) Risk Management in the Built Environment
* (Fire-) Risk Management for Special and High Risk Buildings/Sites
* (Fire-) Risk Management for Heritage Buildings
* Inter-Infrastructure Risks
* Contingency Planning
* Long Term Strategic Planning

31st January 2011 - Submission - Summary Paper [max. 2 pages]
14th February 2011 - Notification of Paper Acceptance
30th April 2011 - Submission - Full Paper
5th May 2011 - Submission - Final Presentation
