OVERVIEW
The role of the supervisor and newly appointed manager is critical to the development of a company. Supervisors are responsible for the workers in organization and can determine the level of success that an employee will attain. It has been said the employees do not quit the company they work for; they quit the supervisor they work for.
So, it is critical that supervisors gain as much and as many skills as possible in dealing effectively with their employees. One critical skill is effective delegation. This webinar will present the beginnings of delegation and what the first line supervisor or newly appointed manager can do to learn and practice that skill.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND
One of the biggest problems that a new supervisor has is effective delegation. Many times they feel that they are “dumping” on their employee. Or that perhaps theiremployee will think less of them for giving them additional work to do. Or that the employee will think that this is work that the supervisor does not want to do and is giving the employee these tasks because they (the supervisor) simply hate doing them.
This webinar will dispel the fears associated with delegation in management and give the supervisor a purposeful pathway to attaining greater delegation skills as well as grater supervisory proficiencies.
