ATINER will hold its 5th Annual International Symposium on Foresight, 29-31 July & 1 August 2019, Athens, Greece as part of the 6th Annual International Conference on Social Sciences organized by the Social Sciences Division and the Computer Unit of ATINER.
The aim of the symposium is to bring together scholars, researchers and students from all areas of Futures Studies and other related disciplines including quantitative and/or qualitative methods such as scenario‑building, horizon scanning, forecasting, roadmapping, back‑casting, technology assessment, Delphi surveys and social platforms.

Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized, including a pragmatic symposium (as organized in Ancient Athens but fine-tuned to synchronous ethics), a special one-day educational island tour, a Myceanae and island of Poros visit, an Athens educational walking tour, a day trip to Delphi, and an ancient Corinth and Cape Sounion visit. Please submit a 300-word abstract, by e-mail to: atiner-AT-atiner.gr, using the abstract submission form to: Dr. Pascal Jollivet, Head, Computer Unit, ATINER & Associate Professor, Université de Technologie de Compiègne / Sorbonne Université, France. Abstracts should include the following: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Affiliation, Current Position, an e-mail address and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks. If your submission is accepted, you will receive information on registration deadlines and paper submission requirements.
