2018 3rd International Workshop on Aircraft Design and Control Engineering (WADCE 2018) will be held inwill be held in Bankok, Thailand, from Dec 13-16, 2018! WADCE 2018 is organized by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers. WADCE 2016 & 2017 was successfully held at Hongkong and Dubai in 2016 & 2017, respectively. WADEC 2018 is in conjunction with2018 4th International Conference on Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (ICMAE 2018)( www.icmae.net)
WADCE 2018 welcomes articles in the field of Aircraft Design and Control Engineering , dealing with new developments in theory, analytical and numerical simulation and modeling, experimentation, demonstration, advanced deployment and case studies, results of laboratory or field operational tests, under the general theme of Aircraft Design and Control Engineering .
●Publication and Indexing
1.All the registered and presented papers will be published in the volume of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering ,which will be indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS), Inspec, and other databases.
2.Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in international journals.

1.Prof.Y.Lawrence.Columbia University, USA
Dr. Yao is Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University, where he directs the Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory.He received Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and B.E. degree from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, all in Mechanical Engineering.He is Editor, Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering (JMSE) of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). JMSE is a premier journal featuring original research in all branches of manufacturing, where he works with some 18 Associate Editors of the journal to better serve the manufacturing research community. He also serves on the editorial board of several other journals.
2.Prof.Dan Zhang,ASME Fellow; IEEE Member,York University, Canada
Dr. Dan Zhang is a Kaneff Professor in Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics, as well as the Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at York University. Before 2016, Dr. Zhang was a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Automation, and was a founding Chair of the Department of Automotive, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University, Canada, in June 2000. Dr. Zhang's research interests include robotics and mechatronics; high performance parallel robotic machine development; sustainable/green manufacturing systems; rehabilitation robot and rescue robot. Dr. Zhang’s contributions to and leadership within the field of robotic and automation have been recognized with several prestigious awards, within his own university (Research Excellence Award both from university level and faculty level) and Kaneff Professorship, the Province of Ontario (Early Researcher Award), the professional societies (Fellow of the ASME, the CAE, the EIC and the CSME), and federal funding agencies (Canada Research Chair in January 2009 and renewed in January 2014). Dr. Zhang is the editor-in-chief for International Journal of Mechanisms and Robotic Systems, the editor-in-chief for International Journal of Robotics Applications and Technologies. Dr. Zhang served as a member of Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Grant Selection Committee.
3.Prof. Kyle Jiang,University of Birmingham, UK
Kyle Jiang received MSc degree in mechanical engineering from Xidian University and PhD degree in mechanical engineering from Kings College London in 1994. Kyle Jiang is a professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Birmingham. He is the Director of Biomedical Engineering and Micro/Nanotechnology Research Centre at University of Birmingham. His research interest covers microengines, turbochargers, micro and nano fabrication and nanostructures for energy and biomedical applications. He is active in organising and participating European projects, EPSRC projects and Innovate UK projects. He has over 200 publications in books, book chapters and research papers in peer reviewed journals and international conference proceedings, including Nature Communications, Journal of Power Sources, Optics Express, and Nanotechnology. He is the inventor of 7 patents.
Professor Jiang is a fellow of IET and fellow of HEA. He was the General Chair of IEEE 12th International Conference on Nanotechnology (IEEENANO 2012), general Co-Chair of NSTSI11, Publicity Chair of IEEE NANO 2013, and chaired many conference sessions. He is an editorial member of several International Journals, and appointed as Birmingham City Ambassador.
4.Prof. Yong Zhao,Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan
Dr. Yong Zhao Michael is currently Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the School of Engineering, Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan. Previously he was faculty member in Alfaisal University, Saudi Arabia for 7 years and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore for 18 years. His research interest is in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and computational structural dynamics (CSD) and their engineering applications, fluid-structure interaction, biomedical mechanics, internal combustion engines and renewable energy systems using CFD as a design tool. He has received a number of awards for his research work, including The Blue Challenge bronze award from IBM, a Cray Quest gold award from Silicon Graphics and a MIT conference fellowship from the 2nd MIT conference on Computational Fluid and Solid Mechanics. He has published about 100 research papers, many of them in top journals, such as Journal of Computational Physics and International Journal of Numerical Methods in Engineering. He is also on the editorial board of the Journal of Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics. He has co-authored the first McGraw-Hill fluid flow handbook which covers micro- and nano-scale fluid flow.
