The objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers and engineers from both academia and industry who contribute to the ongoing trends and advances of smart wireless communications, such as cognitive radio, software defined radio, MIMO, smart antennas, etc. Cognitive radio has recently become an emerging technology for improving spectrum utilisation, whereas software defined radio relies on software technologies to provide an efficient and flexible substitute to hardware wireless communications components.
Key-note speakers from industry and academia; poster sessions; particular focus on research student contributions.
