NCIE 2011 - The 1st National Conference on Industrial Engineering (NCIE-2011)

The 1st National Conference on Industrial Engineering (NCIE-2011) is being organized by the Department of Industrial Engineering & Management at West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata India. The focus of the conference is on recent advances in the area of Industrial Engineering & Management in improving the productivity of industrial firms.

Publications: All paper submissions will be peer reviewed. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings which will be available at the time of conference and selected papers will be published in International Journal of Applied Engineering Research, ISSN: 0976-4259, published by IPA India and the journal link is:

CONFERENCE THEME:
Industrial Engineering focuses on productivity, efficiency, and quality issues in manufacturing and service organisations and due to its interdisciplinary nature, it interacts with major processes and functions in industry namely, Manufacturing, Design, Product Development, Planning, Marketing, Finance and Technical Human Resource.
