2019 3rd International Conference on Advanced Technologies in Design, Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (ATDMAE 2019) is co-organized by Nazarbayev University and Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers (HKSME). sponsored by Dalian University of Technology,Nanyang Technological University and Capitol Technology University. The conference will be held at Shanghai, China from July 5-7, 2019! The conference is an international forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of Advanced Technologies in Design, Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering.
●Publication Information
1. All accepted and registered papers will be included in IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering,which will be indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS), Inspec, and other databases.
2.Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in international journals.
#The Conference Proceeding of ATDMAE 2018 was published in IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (Volume 428) and indexed by Ei Compendex.
●ATDMAE 2019 Speakers
1.Prof. Ian R. McAndrew,Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society,Capitol Technology University, USA
An internationally recognized leader in aerodynamics research and expert on low-speed flight, Dr. McAndrew has five degrees: a PhD, two master’s degrees and two bachelor’s degrees. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Dr. McAndrew chairs several international conferences and journals and is invited to give keynote speeches all over the world. He started his career in the automotive industry as an engine designer, and has worked at several universities across the globe. Dr. McAndrew is dean of doctoral programs at Capitol.

2.Prof. Kai H. Luo,leader of the UK Consortium On Mesoscale Engineering Sciences (UKCOMES),University College London, UK
Professor Luo has a PhD (1992) from Cambridge University and has held various academic positions at Imperial College London, Queen Mary, University of London and University of Southampton. He became a full professor of the University of London in 2002 and held the Chair of Energy Systems in the University of Southampton from 2004 to 2013. Prof Luo led the UK Consortium on Computational Combustion for Engineering Applications funded by the EPSRC during 2002 – 2010. He is currently the leader of the UK Consortium On Mesoscale Engineering Sciences (UKCOMES) funded by the EPSRC. He has held various international/academic exchange/advisory positions.

3.Prof. Tongming Zhou,The University of Western Australia, Australia
Tongming Zhou is a Professor in Department of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering, The University of Western Australia. He received his PhD from The University of Newcastle, Australia, in 1999. After working as a post-doc fellow in the same university for about two years, he joined Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in October 2000. In July 2007, he left NTU and joined The University of Western Australia. His current main research activities include: (a) vortex shedding from single and multiple bluff bodies; (b) suppression of vortex shedding and VIV using various passive methods to reduce hazards on slender cylindrical structures; (c) enhancement of VIV and galloping of bluff structures using various passive methods to improve the power density for hydrokinetic energy harvesting; (d) resonance of waves in the gap between a floating LNG facility and a LNG carrier and (e) liquid sloshing in partially-filled tanks.

4.Prof. Qibing Li,Tsinghua University, China
Qibing Li is an associate professor at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, where he also got his PhD in fluid mechanics in 2002. His research targets the development of high accurate and efficient CFD method and the numerical study of various flow problems based on mesoscopic gas-kinetic theory, including rarefied gas flow, high-speed multimaterial flow and compressible turbulence.

5.Prof. Gopalan Jagadeesh,Indian Institute of Science, India
Fellow of the royal aeronautical society of the United Kingdom and the national institute of engineering of India and associate fellow of the American aerospace institute. Prof Gopalan Jagadeesh is the founder and chairman of the IISc Hypersonics Centre of Excellence in Hypersonics, founded by BrahMos Aerospace in bangalore. He is also the founder and director of super-wave Technology Pvt. Ltd. His research interests include hypersonic aerodynamics and the propagation of shock waves in complex fluids.

6.Prof. Henri Christiaans,Ulsan National Institute of Science & technology (UNIST), South Korea
Henri Christiaans, Chair professor and Dean of the School of Design & Human Engineering (DHE), Ulsan National Institute of Science & Technology (UNIST), as well as invited professor at the School of Architecture of University Minho, Portugal. He holds a master degree in psychology and a PhD in Industrial Design Engineering. Henri was for many years associate professor at the TU Delft School of Industrial Design Engineering in the Netherlands where he was head of the Master specialization on Retail Design and the Master Program Integrated Product Design. Furthermore, he was an invited professor at Lisbon University in Portugal, EAFIT university in Colombia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, DYPDC University at Pune, India and , UNIST in South Korea.
