CCRA 2018 - 2nd IEEE Colombian Conference on Robotics and Automation - CCRA 2018

The 2018 IEEE 2nd Colombian Conference on Robotics and Automation (CCRA 2018) is the second edition of the biannual technical summit related to robotics and automation organized by the IEEE RAS Colombian chapter. CCRA 2018 will be held in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia, on November 1-3, 2018, with the support of the IEEE Caribbean Colombian Subsection. The venue for CCRA 2018 is Universidad del Norte.
CCRA’s objective is to gather academic and industrial Colombian robotics and automation community to discuss advances in robotics, automation and related field such as control engineering, and to discuss how to transfer this knowledge into the society.
As part of CCRA 2018, this year, the event will include a Doctoral Symposium were current research in the areas of the conference will be presented by doctoral students, in order to show ongoing innovations in the scholar community and discuss its potential impact in industry.

- Contributions
IEEE CCRA 2018 seeks for English written high-quality papers presenting original results in all areas of robotics, automation, and related fields such as machine learning, computer vision and control engineering. Spanish written contributions can be submitted but will not be published by IEEE. All submissions should use the IEEE Transaction, letter size format, with a maximum of 6 pages including references and figures. The CCRA 2018 conference proceedings will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® digital library. Previous editions of CCRA proceedings can be consulted in this link.
