Introduction
Vehicle crashes on the roads and highways cost loss of lives and damages to properties. Connected vehicles have been identified as a key technology for increasing road safety and transport efficiency. In recent years, vehicle infrastructure integration technology attracts a great amount of attentions, and it can also bring inestimable economic value, and will play an important role in the next generation of intelligent transportation systems and communication network development.
Objective
The purpose of this book is to discuss the recent advances in the connected vehicles and bring together engineers, researchers and practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of Vehicle Technology, Intelligent Transport Systems, Wireless Sensor Communications, and IoT.
Target Audience
The audience of this book will come from the domain of Vehicle Technology, Intelligent Transport Systems, Wireless Sensor Communications, and IoT. In addition, the proposed book will serve as an aide to the prospective audience (e.g. university lecturers and professors, students, and researchers) and to governmental purposes, planning agencies, environmental management, standardization, and harmonization purposes, etc.

Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before May 15, 2018, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by May 20, 2018 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by June 15, 2018, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-reso... prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Trust in Knowledge Management and Systems in Organizations. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
All proposals should be submitted through the eEditorial Discovery®TM online submission manager.
