WILF 2018 - 12th International Workshop on Fuzzy Logic and Applications

The Twelfth International Workshop on Fuzzy Logic and Applications (WILF 2018) covers all topics in theoretical, experimental and application areas of fuzzy sets and systems, with the aim of bringing together researchers from academia and industry to report on the latest advances in their fields of interest.
A major objective of WILF 2018 is the presentation of the consolidated results and of potential applications of fuzzy sets and fuzzy systems to the analysis of big dimensional data and of complex networks. To approach these difficult tasks, fuzzy techniques are often integrated with other Computational Intelligence methods, such as neural networks and evolutionary algorithms, as well as with the use of knowledge resources such as ontologies, thus giving rise to powerful computational approaches addressing data analysis issues in emergent relevant areas like industry, smart city, bioinformatics, ambient assisted living, activity analysis and recognition, and emotional computing.
