Topics/Call fo Papers
We invite technical papers presenting novel and original work on the following research topics related to fast sea transportation:
Hull form design
New fast ship concepts and designs
High-speed passenger ferry design
High-speed cargo vessel design
Hydrofoil design
WIG and SES design
High-speed yacht and mega yacht design and operation
Hydrodynamic performance
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Seakeeping
Maneuvering and control
Motion control
Loads
Metallic and composite materials
Structural response (slamming, whipping, impact, fatigue)
Structural health monitoring systems and repair technologies
Propulsion and cavitation
Survivability after damage
Safety
Security of fast passenger ships
Fast ship operations
Fast sea transportation and integration with infrastructure
Environmental effects (noise, emissions, wake, fuel consumption, etc.)
Papers addressing other relevant topics associated with fast sea transportation will also be considered.
Scientists and engineers engaged in the above research areas are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 500 words in English. The abstract should clearly state the purpose, procedure, results obtained, and conclusions of the full paper. Click the “Papers” link on the left for instructions on preparing and submitting abstracts.
Please note that each delegate may present only one paper; final acceptance of each paper will be based upon the review of the full manuscript and the paid registration of at least one author at the conference.
