The Department of Accounting, Economic Informatics and Statistics, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University, Iași, in collaboration with The Department of Economic Informatics and Cybernetics, Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the Romanian Association for Informatics in Economy Training Promotion – INFOREC and the Romanian Chapter of the Association for Information Systems, organise The 17th International Conference on Informatics in Economy (IE 2018).
Overview
The International Conference on Informatics in Economy is one of the first
scientific events on this subject in Romania and during the last ten years has
gained an international scientific recognition. At national level, it remains one of
the most important scientific events that gather the entire Romanian Economic
Informatics community.
Topics of the conference
The Organizing Committee encourages submissions of papers in the following
topic areas:
Cloud, Distributed and Parallel Computing
IoT, Mobile-Embedded Multimedia Solutions
E-Society, Enterprise and Business Solutions
Databases, Data Warehouses and Data Mining
Information System Audit and Project Management
Quantitative Economics
Artificial Intelligence
Submissions
Papers should have a length of 6 pages. The paper shall include an introduction
on the current research in the papers field, original solutions, experimental
results analysis, conclusions and references.
All accepted papers of the conference will be published in Proceeding of the 17th International Conference on Informatics in Economy (ISSN: 2247 – 1480), Education, Research & Business Technologies.The conference volume will be indexed in RePEC and will be sent for evaluation to ISI Thomson Reuters.
In addition to publication in the conference proceedings, the authors of the conference papers will be invited to publish an extended format and will be indexed by major databases:
