MDAI 2012 - The 9th International Conference on Modeling Decisions for Artificial Intelligence
Topics/Call fo Papers
The aim of the MDAI conference series is to provide a forum for researchers to discuss models for decision and information fusion (aggregation operators) and their applications to AI.
In MDAI 2012, we encourage the submission of papers on decision making, information fusion, social networks, data mining, and related topics. Applications to privacy technologies as well as real world problems are welcome.
MDAI 2012 is the 9th MDAI conference. Previous conferences were celebrated in Barcelona (2004), Tsukuba (2005), Tarragona (2006), Kitakyushu (2007), Sabadell (2008), Awaji Island (2009), Perpinyà (2010), and Changsha (2011).
MDAI is rated as a CORE B conference by the Computing Research and Education Association of Australasia - CORE.
Proceedings with accepted papers are expected to be published in the LNAI/LNCS series (Springer-Verlag) and distributed at the conference, as done in previous conferences.
Aims and goals
The aim of the MDAI conference series is to provide a forum for researchers to discuss models for decision and information fusion (aggregation operators) and their applications to AI.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
A) Methods and Tools:
? Information fusion
? Aggregation operators
? Utility and decision theory
? Model and operator selection
? Learning methods for parameter determination
? Machine learning and statistical learning
? Soft computing
? Optimization methods in AI and decision modeling
? Distributed Computing
? Cloud computing
B) Applications:
? Information privacy and security
? Multiagent systems
? Social networks
? Data mining
? Autonomous robots
? Entertainment computing
? Subjective evaluation
? Bioinformatics
? Information access
? Economic and management sciences
Publication
Original technical contributions are sought. Contributions will be selected on the basis of their quality. Papers should not exceed 12 pages in total (using LNCS/LNAI style).
Proceedings with accepted papers are intended to be published in the LNAI/LNCS series (Springer-Verlag) and distributed at the conference, as done in previous conferences. See LNAI volumes 3131, 3558, 3885, 4617, 5285, 5861, 6408. Besides, papers, that according to the evaluation of the referees, are not suitable for the LNAI but that have some merits will be published in a CD-ROM proceedings (with ISBN) and scheduled in the MDAI program.
Submission
Only electronic submission is accepted.
Papers should be sent as an attached PDF file to mdai-AT-mdai.cat
File names should follow this scheme: surname.pdf (multiple author papers should be: surname1.surname2.pdf).
The subject of the message should contain the text MDAI paper submission.
The body of the e-mail message should contain IN PLAIN TEXT: (i) the title of the submission; (ii) the names and affiliations of all authors; (iii) the e-mail, telephone and facsimile numbers of the contact author; (iv) keywords classifying the paper topic
