Topics/Call fo Papers

The RSC is a platform for early career researchers to present their work to their peers and network with potential future collaborators. Every student attending will be given the opportunity to present in the form of a talk, poster or both. The plenary speakers for this year's conference are:
Professor Peter Diggle -- Horses for courses: empirical or mechanistic modelling for spatio-temporal point process data.
Professor Richard Everson -- To average or optimise?
Dr Cécile Mailler -- Pólya urns: a journey in discrete probability.
Professor Ruth King -- It’s as easy as counting 1, 2, 3. Or is it?
This year, due to many generous sponsors, we have managed to heavily reduce the registration fee without compromising the quality of the conference. More information on what is included in the registration fee can be found on our website rsc2018.co.uk. We also have grants available to students with limited or no travel grant of their own to cover registration fees and travel costs as well as childcare grants, all of which are outlined on our website http://rsc2018.co.uk/registration_register.html.
