Topics/Call fo Papers
* Conference background and goals
IADIS Telecommunications, Networks and Systems conference covers theory, design and application of computer and telecommunication networks and systems. During recent
years there has been an impressive increase in the use of networked applications and networks are now key resources in any information system configuration. Wireless and
fixed-line networks complemented by a growing range of mobile devices are having a significant impact on the way we run our lives and our businesses
* Format of the Conference
The conference will comprise of invited talks and oral presentations.
The proceedings of the conference will be published in the form of a book and CD-ROM with ISBN, and will be available also in the IADIS Digital Library (accessible on-line).
The conference proceedings will be submitted for indexing to INSPEC, EI Compendex, Thomson ISI, ISTP and other indexing services.
* Best Papers
Selected authors of best papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers to selected journals
(i.e. IADIS International Journal on Computer Science and Information Systems (IJCSIS - ISSN: 1646-3692) including journals from INDERSCIENCE Publishers
* Types of submissions
Full papers, Short Papers, Reflection Papers, Posters/Demonstrations, Tutorials, Panels and Doctoral Consortium.
All submissions are subject to a blind refereeing process.
* Topics related to Telecommunications, Networks and Systems are of interest. These include, but are not limited to the following areas:
- Adoption and diffusion of networking technologies
- Business applications of telecommunications
- Cross-border network-based information systems
- Design and performance evaluation of new network application and systems
- Designing, deploying and using networked systems in specialized sectors (i.e. Health, Education, Manufacturing)
- Effects of legislation and regulation on telecommunications
- Emerging networking trends
- Frameworks for wireless security
- Grid, Cluster and Internet Computing
- Internetworking Protocols
- Location- and context-aware distributed systems
- Management of telecommunications in organizations
