MOWU 2018 - Symposium on Mobile, Wearable, and Ubiquitous Computing (MOWU)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The symposium on Mobile, Wearable, and Ubiquitous Computing (MOWU) is an integral part of the IEEE COMPSAC main conference. Following the theme of the COMPSAC main conference, the MOWU Symposium's scope covers recent advances in wireless communications and the proliferation of powerful mobile devices and cloud services that have enabled a wide range of mobile applications that can be deployed everywhere and anytime, while providing access to massive amounts of big data. MOWU invites both researchers and practitioners to present their recent results, findings, and achievements in all aspects of mobile, wearable and ubiquitous computing. This may include, but is not limited to:
Advancements in mobile software and middleware technologies
Ubiquitous Internet of Things solutions, architecture and systems
Adaptive mobile software and context aware computing
Innovative wearable and devices for domain specific applications, including health, safety tracking and sports, among others
Dynamic offloading to cloud resources, including mobile device security and privacy policies
Mobile and crowd sensing of data using wireless sensors and wearables
Big data processing of mobile data on the cloud
Augmented reality applications on mobile devices.
