The 21st century is a highly dynamic complex era. Therefore, organizations have to be flexible, adaptive, and responsive in order to deal with the opportunities and challenges in a such hyper-competitive environment. In this regard, innovation is increasingly becoming the main driver for economic and social development. Hence the importance of this conference. The conference brings together researchers, policy makers, and practitioners from different backgrounds to present their research, views and insights in the field of innovation and economic diversification. It will explore the prerequisites for innovation and economic diversification in the Arab World in general and the Gulf States in particular.
