Topics/Call fo Papers

Hardware security products are the guarantee to healthy functioning of our society. Hardware has long been viewed as a trusted party supporting the whole information system. However, there are many kinds of attacks and malicious usage to jeopardize the hardware security, such as side-channel attacks, hardware Trojan attacks, hardware tampering attacks and so on. Therefore, hardware security and trust has become an important issue.
This workshop aims at providing a forum for researchers and developers from different background areas such as IoT, IC design, networking, communication, information security and privacy protection areas to exchange the latest experiences and research ideas on hardware security and trust issues. The symposium solicits high quality research results in all related areas.
Scope and Topics:
The objective of this workshop is to invite authors to submit original manuscripts that demonstrate and explore current advances in all aspects of hardware security. There will also be some invited talks from academia and industry.
The workshop solicits novel papers on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:
Side-channel analysis, attacks, and protection
Machine learning for hardware security: attacks and countermeasures
Integrated circuit design of Crypto circuits, PUFs and RNGs
FPGA and system-on-chip (SoC) security
Hardware Trojan attacks, detection, and countermeasures
Hardware security test and verification
IoT, automotive, and cyber-physical system security
Metrics, policies, assessment, and standards related to hardware security
Hardware tampering attacks and protection
Design and applications of emerging and nanoscale devices for security
Architecture and hardware-enabled SoC, cyber, data center, etc. security
