This track aims at examining 5G technologies and applications. The aim of 5G is to implement a new mobile network architecture that not only improves physical throughput, but also creates a new ecosystem for deploying new services and applications. One of the central objectives is to build a new network architecture that, beyond conventional broadband applications and services, supports new user needs such as automotive systems, Smart Grid, Public Safety, Health, and other IoT services.
