Emerging fog computing architecture moves the Internet of Things (IoT) information system from the centralised model to the distributed model in which information processes are disseminated to different levels of edge networks in IoT systems. This paradigm improves the agility of information processes of IoT and brings the resources closer to the data sources and end-users. Fog-driven IoT, enhances ubiquitous IoT information system in terms of performance improvement and increasing the quality of experience. However, while applying fog computing in IoT, many engineering challenges have arisen. FiUSE workshop aims to establish a forum for the researchers and participants of fog computing, for discussing the state-of-the-art in fog-driven ubiquitous IoT system engineering, novel solutions and applications.
