The 1st European Doctoral Symposium on Metal-Organic Frameworks will bring together European PhD students that are working on MOFs and related materials. This symposium is fully organized by DEFNET PhD students and is designed particularly for doctoral researchers. For this reason NO CONFERENCE FEES are applied to attend this event and lunches, coffee breaks and dinner will be provided. Attendees only need to cover their travel expenses and local accommodation.
Its spirit is to create an enjoyable platform of inspiring exchange for doctoral researchers across the European Union and beyond. docMOF 2018 is a fully PhD-run enterprise. It is open for any ideas to create a great and successful program. Contact the doctoral researchers who volunteered to act as Symposium Chairs, as International Advisory Board and as Local Organizational Team. They are doing the management and share all aspects of running the symposium including selection of invited speakers and guests, peer-review of contributions, decision on the scientific program, session chairing and more.
Topics range from synthesis of novel materials, characterization techniques to industrial applications, accounting for the various utilization possibilities of MOFs. Beyond the development of new techniques of fabrication, system integration and characterization, a critical look into the future of MOFs is also faced during the conference. Considering this diversity, the docMOF symposium will bring together PhD students from numerous areas of interest and selected international experts as keynote speakers, creating a unique experience.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at an inspiring conference in Raitenhaslach monastery, April 29th to May 2nd, 2018.
