Objective:
The primary goal of the conference is to present state-of-the-art scientific results, encourage academic and industrial interaction, and promote collaborative research activities, in Pattern Recognition, Machine Intelligence and related fields, involving scientists, engineers, professionals, researchers and students. This is the first time, when the conference, which started in India in 2005 and was held every two years, comes to Eastern Europe to make it an ideal platform for people from East and West to share their views and experiences in the said areas. Papers are invited in all areas of Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence including but not limited to the following.

Proceedings: All accepted papers, whose author(s) register, would be included in the conference proceedings to be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS/LNAI series.
Special Issues: Expanded versions of selected papers will be published in special issues of reputed journals.
Tutorials: There will be at least 4 two-hour tutorials, spread over June 28 and 29, 2011.
Special Sessions: Conference will have sessions on specific topics of interest.
Location: The conference will be held at the Higher School of Economics, Moscow, which is in the center of Moscow.
Submission Procedure: Submissions must be made online through Easychair following the submission link:
Papers should be four to six A4 pages (including figures and tables) complete with authors’ affiliations. Papers
exceeding six pages will be subjected to over length page charges. Manuscripts must be prepared with LaTex2e
(use Springer class file llncs2e.zip). See authors’ instruction in http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html .

Acceptance notification: February 15, 2011
