2018 2nd International Conference on Computer Graphics and Digital Image Processing (CGDIP 2018) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand during July 27-29, 2018. All the papers will be peer reviewed by 2-3 experts. The review result comes out in 25-30 days. If the paper needs revising, the revised copy should be submitted again for peer review. Dr. Sasan Mahmoodi University of Southampton, UK
Sasan Mahmoodi received the B.Sc. degree from Amirkabir University of Technology in 1988, the M.Sc. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1991, and the Ph.D degree from the University of Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., in 1998. In 1999, He held a Research Fellowship post in mathematical analysis of human vision in the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He joined the University of Southampton in 2007 as anAssistant Professor.His current research interests are inmedical image processing, computer vision,signal processing, and modelling of the biological vision. Dr. Mahmoodi has chaired and co-chaired several conferences such as MIUA andis currently a member of IEEE.
Prof. Shahram Latifi University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA
He is the recipient of several research awards including the most recent one- Silver State Scholar research award in 2014. His research has been funded by NSF, NASA, DOE, DoD/DTRA, Boeing, Lockheed and Cray Inc. Dr. Latifi was an IEEE Distinguished Speaker ( 1997-2000), an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Computers (1999-2006) , Co-founder and General Chair of the IEEE Int'l Conf. on Information Technology (ITCC 2000-2004) and founder and General Chair of Int’l Conf. on Information Technology-New Generations (ITNG 2005-2018). He has delivered keynotes in international IEEE conferences around the world. He has also served on the editorial board of several international journals. He is an IEEE Fellow (2002) and a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Nevada.
Prof. David Zhang Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HK
Prof. David Zhang (Shenzhen Pengcheng scholar, Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of IAPR) graduated in Computer Science from Peking University. He received his MSc in Computer Science in 1982 and his PhD in 1985 from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). From 1986 to 1988 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tsinghua University and then an Associate Professor at the Academia Sinica, Beijing. In 1994 he received his second PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Currently, he is Chair Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he is the Founding Director of the Biometrics Technology Centre (UGC/CRC) supported by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 1998. He also serves as Visiting Chair Professor in Tsinghua University, and Adjunct Professor in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Peking University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and the University of Waterloo. Prof. Zhang is the Chairman of the Technical Committee in IEEE SMC and the Distinguished Speaker in IEEE CS, as well as received the highest science and technology awards - Croucher Senior research Fellowship (2004-2005).
