The “International Conference on Advanced Research and Applications in Mechanical Engineering” (ICARAME’11) aims at bringing together researchers and engineers from both academia and industry to share their latest findings related to the various fields of mechanical engineering. ICARAME’11 is a joint activity of Wayne State University (Detroit, Michigan, USA), and Notre Dame University ? Louaize (Beirut, Lebanon), to take place from the 13th to the 15th of June, 2011, in the northern suburb of Beirut, Lebanon.
The organizing committee would like to invite you to submit your manuscript, based on original work, pertaining, but not limited, to the following areas:

Manuscripts can be submitted through the conference website at http://www.ndu.edu.lb/ICARAME11/. Note that all manuscripts should be prepared according to the Conference specific templates, which are accessible through the conference website.
Deadlines are as follows:
? Submission of manuscripts: January 31, 2011
? Notification of acceptance/rejection: February 28, 2011
? Final paper submission: March 31, 2011

The conference will be held at Notre Dame University in Zouk Mosbeh (18 km north of Beirut), a lovely place squeezed between the Mediterranean sea and the cavernous Jeita Grotto which is one of the most impressive subterranean displays of stalactites and stalagmites of the planet. ICARAME11 offers the opportunity to explore Lebanon with its legendary hospitality, natural and touristic sites, and its delicious food; it is indeed a unique place to visit. The area offers some of the best of Lebanon in hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, theaters, art galleries, and sand beaches.
