Topics/Call fo Papers
The 9th edition of SPDECE aims at providing an open forum for educators and computer specialists to present and discuss research on the different aspects of Technology-enhanced learning and , SPDECE topics include, but are not limited to: new teaching and learning environments, content standards and metadata, learning objects and learning designs and repositories of learning resources.
SPDECE emphasizes inter-disciplinarity and multi-disciplinarity, fostering interchange between educational and learning sciences, computing and other disciplines. The event thus welcomes papers using a diversity of kinds of research methods, including but not limited to empirical studies, ICT developments, action research and experimental studies.
Call for papers
SPDECE is accepting papers in two main tracks:
International track (submissions in English).
Iberoamerican track (submissions in Spanish or Portuguese).
Papers in both tracks will undergo rigorous peer review.
Papers can be submitted in one of the following categories (for both tracks):
Full research papers (up to 12 pages)
Short research-in-progress papers (up to 8 pages)
Project presentations (up to 8 pages)
Important dates
March 01, 2012. Paper submission.
April 03, 2012: Notification of acceptance/rejection.
May 03, 2012: Final version submission.
June 13, 2012: SPDECE-2012 starts in Alicante.
