CALL FOR PAPERS/POSTERS/SOFTWARE DEMONSTRATION

All papers will be blindly reviewed. Prospective presenters are to submit abstracts to reach ASIALEX before 28 February 2011. Abstracts should be between 250 and 300 words, which do not include references. Abstracts should contain the following: three keywords, a central argument of the paper, how the study was conducted and some (preliminary) conclusions. Papers that fail to follow these guidelines will be rejected.

Abstracts should be sent by e-mail to: abstracts-AT-asialex2011.org

Acceptance/rejection of abstracts will be notified by 31 March, 2011 and those who are accepted should write a full paper (single space, A4, within 8-10 pages) by 30 June, 2011.

Final versions of full papers should be sent by e-mail to: proceedings-AT-asialex2011.org

The papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

A poster session is also planned. Appropriate facilities will be provided on the Conference site. Submissions proposing poster presentations should also follow the same guidelines as full paper presentations. You can either submit full papers for the Proceedings or 1-2 page summaries for posters.

We are particularly interested in well-prepared software demonstrations, presentations of electronic dictionaries, corpora, tools, etc. These demonstrations will be allowed a 30-minute time slot at the Conference. Submissions proposing software demonstrations should include a description of the functions, underlying approach implementation of the software, possibly an indication of a URL, and hardware/software requirements.
