Recent advances in the Internet of Things (IoT), particularly in the definition of new reference architectures, such as FIWARE, go towards a growing integration of the physical, social and cyber spaces. This also raises the need for smarter, context-aware and cognitive-based services to be provided through these platforms. Moreover, the distributed characteristics of IoT resources leads to increasing needs for autonomy, reactivity, proactivity and social ability, characteristics that intelligent agents have been tackling in the last decades. This workshop intends to bring together researchers working on the confluence of intelligent and cognitive systems with the Internet of Things and related areas.
