AEECT 2017 provides a unique forum to discuss practical approaches and state of the art findings in using the applied electrical engineering and computing technologies to solve national problems that face developing countries. This conference is the fourth of a series of conferences organized by the IEEE – Jordan Section.
AEECT 2017 accepts applied technical papers in the following areas. All papers should not exceed 6 pages including all figures, tables, and references, and must be formatted according to IEEE format guidelines that can be found at: http://ewh.ieee.org/conf/aeect/Author_Kit.html . Accepted papers will be published in the AEECT 2017 proceedings and the presented regular papers will also appear in IEEEXplore and indexed in Scopus. Authors of selected papers will also be invited to prepare extended papers of their work for publication in a collection of specialized journals.
The AEECT 2017 program will include guest speakers, peer reviewed technical program, and panel discussions around the applications of the following areas:
• Biomedical Engineering
• Communications
• Computer Eng. and Networks
• Control and Mechatronics
• Industrial Projects and Applied Research
• IT Applications and Systems
• Power and Energy Systems
Additionally, The International Workshop on Data Science Engineering and its Applications (DSEA 2017) will be held in conjunction with this conference.
The conference is hosted by the University of Jordan, the oldest and largest university of Jordan, located in Amman, the capital city of Jordan. The social program of this conference includes gala dinner with folklore entertainment, a visit to the Dead Sea, and optional trips to Petra and Wadi Rum. The Dead Sea is a salt lake which surface and shores are 427 meters below sea level, Earth's lowest elevation on land. Petra is the archaeological city in southern Jordan, famous for its rock-cut architecture.
