Future Challenges in Information Security and Privacy for Academia and Industry

The SEC conferences are in a series of well-established international conferences on Security and Privacy organized annually by the Technical Committee 11 (TC-11) of IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing).
The 26th IFIP TC-11 International Information Security Conference (IFIP SEC2011) will be held from 7-9 June 2011, at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Luzern, Switzerland.
IFIP SEC 2011 aims at bringing together primarily researchers, but also practitioners from academia, industry and governmental institutions for elaborating and discussing IT Security and Privacy Challenges that we are facing today and in the future.
Papers offering novel and mature research contributions, in any aspect of information security and privacy are solicited for submission to the 26th IFIP TC-11 International Information Security Conference.
Papers may present theory, applications, or practical experiences on security and privacy topics including but not limited to:

Authors of the best submissions will be invited to submit updated and significantly extended versions of their papers into the Computers & Security Journal.
Important Dates
Submission of papers: 15 November, 2010
Notification to authors: 15 January, 2011
Camera-ready copies: 15 February, 2011
Conference: 7-9 June, 2011
Instructions for Authors
Submitted papers must be original, unpublished, and not submitted to another conference or journal for consideration of publication. Papers must be written in English; they should not be longer than 12 pages in total. Submitted papers in pdf must be uploaded to the conference and must be produced in the IFIP Springer format (see details at: http://www.springer.com/series/6102).
All papers submitted will be subject to a review process by a panel of international reviewers. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in the conference proceedings by the official IFIP publisher Springer Science and Business Media..
At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register with the conference and present the paper. Papers must be submitted in electronic format through the web.
