FTSEV 2017 - International Workshop on Future Transportation Systems and Electric Vehicles (FTSEV-2017)

In recent years there have been considerable interest and research activities in Smart (intelligent) Transportation Systems and Technologies aiming at addressing the needs for modern living and eco-friendly societies. Advanced solutions in future transportation systems need to be developed to support a wide range of approaches, systems and applications in existing and future societies. To this end automobile industry is undergoing a key technological transformation to develop electric vehicles that will greatly minimise the Carbon emissions as well as will have the technology to support autonomous driving with minimal human intervention. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together scientists, engineers, researchers and practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of Smart (intelligent) Transport Systems. We welcome conceptual work, as well as insights gained from real-world experiments and applications.
This workshop invites original papers in the field of future transportation systems focusing on the role on electric vehicles, communication systems and new developments in vehicle to everything (V2E) paradigm. Original contributions are solicited in all areas pertinent to future transportation systems. Topics include, but are not limited to:

Sensing, detectors and actuators in V2E
Cloud/Edge computing models for V2E
Autonomous vehicles driving and Electric Vehicle charging
Traffic modeling and collection systems
Vehicle Telematics
