The Technical Papers Program is the lead component for presenting the most timely and highest quality work to the high performance computing, networking, storage and data analysis community. The Technical Papers Committee rigorously reviews all submissions using technical leadership, timeliness, and community impact as the predominant acceptance criteria. SC11 anticipates an acceptance rate of 20-25% and will value papers that focus on sustained performance and/or data intensive science. SC uses a two-part submission process where abstracts are submitted for initial review before full papers are required. Awards are presented for Best Paper and Best Student Paper. In addition, extended versions of papers selected for the Best Paper and Best Student Paper Awards may be published in the journal Scientific Programming. Full manuscripts are limited to 10 pages, two-columns, and shall follow the Association for Computing Machinery SIG Proceeding Template.

Abstracts Due: Friday, April 1, 2011
Papers Due: Friday, April 8, 2011

Posters provide an excellent opportunity for short presentations and informal discussions with conference attendees. SC11 is soliciting submissions for posters that display cutting-edge, interesting research in high performance computing, storage, networking and analytics. Submissions are encouraged to consider the Technical Program theme of sustained performance and/or data intensive science. Posters will be prominently displayed for the duration of the conference, giving presenters a chance to showcase their latest results and innovations. There will be one award for Best Poster. A limited number of active displays are available as part of the poster session. Students who are ACM members are encouraged to submit posters as part of the ACM Student Research Competition (SRC), with awards and special recognition at SC11 and the chance to compete in the SRC grand finals.
