GSLAI 2017 - First German Summer Learning Analytics Institute

The first German Summer Learning Analytics Institute takes place in Berlin, Germany on April 6-7, 2017, see http://lasi2017.f4.htw-berlin.de/ with Mykola Pechenizkiy (Eindhoven University of Technology and Hendrik Drachsler (Open Universiteit Nederland) as keynote speakers in the morning session of April 7.
The main activity of the first afternoon on April 6 is a Doctoral Workshop that brings together young researchers in the field with experienced mentors to facilitate an exchange of ideas as well as networking for future cooperations.
The workshop is open for contributions from various related disciplines, including computer science, cognitive science, pedagogy and learning sciences as well as empirical methods and statistics. The background of a contribution should be an ongoing or recently finished PhD project clearly related to issues of Learning Analytics. Applicants should submit a 1-page description of their work (in German or English). For work in an early stage, a submission can briefly expose the background followed by 3-5 questions that the candidate wants to get advice on.
Submissions will be handled through EasyChair “German LASI 2017”. Deadline is March 1st, 2017.
