ICCS 2011 - 2nd International Conference on CANCER IMMUNOTHERAPY & IMMUNOMONITORING
Topics/Call fo Papers
2nd International Conference on
CANCER IMMUNOTHERAPY & IMMUNOMONITORING
May 2-5, 2011
Budapest, Hungary
Dear Colleague,
The immune system plays a central role not only in fighting infections, but also in many other diseases and medical conditions including cancer. The study of the immune system has lead to significant findings in many fields of medicine and biology and has resulted in the discovery of novel and unique substances and reagents that are now widely used for diagnosis, evaluation and therapy of different malignant diseases. The development of prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines, as well as innovative combinatorial immunotherapeutic approaches for patients with cancer has substantially decreased mortality and morbidity and improved the life, life expectancy, and the well being of the millions of patients with malignant diseases.
Thus, the field of Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunomonitoring (CITIM) is of continuously escalating significance, as well as scientifically, economically and socially important. The 2nd Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunomonitoring (CITIM) Conference on May 2-5, 2011 in Budapest, Hungary allows scientists, clinicians, medical practitioners and specialists, students, R&D experts and patients to meet together and discuss the latest therapeutic, preventive and diagnostic developments in the field.
The goal of the conference is to:
Promote basic and clinical research in tumor immunology
Integrate the immunological research and educational activities
Disseminate information and encouraging international collaborations
Identify ways to improve the quality of immunological research and clinical care
Encourage and providing training and continuous medical and biomedical education
Promote novel preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic modalities and good patient care
Submit an abstract by March 15, 2011 for inclusion in the published proceedings and to present a poster. To submit an abstract please download an Abstract form and email to infogtcbio-AT-gtcbio.com.
We look forward to greeting you in Budapest!
Best Regards,
