ICGSE, the IEEE International Conference on Global Software Engineering, is a worldwide premier conference venue for discussing global software engineering related topics.
The 12th IEEE International Conference on Global Software Engineering (ICGSE 2017) brings together researchers and practitioners to share their research findings, experiences, and new ideas on diverse themes related to global software engineering. Inspired on the well-established ICGSE conference series, ICGSE 2017 aims to further promote the integration between industry and academia. The collegial atmosphere welcomes those looking to discuss new ideas and find new research collaborations. The conference explicitly encourages submissions of research papers describing theoretical frameworks, presenting technical solutions, or reporting on empirical studies. The conference also encourages submissions of industry experience reports and papers on ICGSE training and education.
ICGSE 2017 is part of a series of conferences presented by icgse.org
As a novelty for 2017, we are introducing a radical new track for the conference called “Ignite Track Sessions”. The intent is to draw innovative ideas from industry and scientific communities. Therefore, if you have a strong GSE-related message that you really want to share with the GSE world, we encourage you to send us a proposal for an Ignite presentation. The contributions are less scientific in their nature but argued in a compelling way. We would like to provide an opportunity for the community to present ideas that generate discussion and have the capacity to push the field forward in an unexpected way. Tell us about tools, processes, tips, tricks, war stories, whatever. Make us laugh, make us cry, show us how to be more awesome. The submissions are still peer-reviewed to ensure the quality of content.
