Topics/Call fo Papers
The 21th IEEE International Symposium on Power Line Communications and its Applications will be held in Madrid, Spain, from April 3 to April 5, 2017 . ISPLC is the flagship conference of the IEEE Communications Society Technical Committee on Power Line Communications, and has been financially and technically sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society since 2006.
Madrid is the capital city of Spain. With a centuries-old history, it is the third most populous city in the European Union, a modern metropolis with all facilities and services, and an important hub for start-ups, industry and Academia.
Organized by IBERDROLA, one of the largest utility groups in the world, ISPLC 2017 will bring together high industry participation, universities, researchers and users of power line technologies to present and discuss state of the art solutions and research results on existing and future power line communication systems. With the topic “Smart Grid and its Industry“, we will focus on key aspects of communications theory, algorithms, standards, measurements, implementations, evaluation of field trials and network operation pertaining to communication via power lines.
ISPLC has been a successful conference for two decades, and it is recognized as the major international conference in the PLC field.
