Research topics in this space are varied and can include but not be restricted to: professionalism in accounting; codes of ethics; integrity and objectivity in accounting and auditing practice, ethics in accounting education; the ethics of financial reporting quality, fraud and corruption; ethical issues in diverse contexts (e.g. public sector, NGOs, Not-for Profit); ethical decision making; moral values and the accounting profession; the social accounting project and philosophical aspects of ethics. Academically, the Association is organized into seven Divisions and 37 Units. Each Unit organizes at least an Annual International Conference, and may also undertake various small and large research projects.
