eurogp 2011 - 14th European Conference on Genetic Programming
Topics/Call fo Papers
14th European Conference on Genetic Programmingreurogp is the premier annual conference on Genetic Programming. We invite high quality submissions in all areas of evolution of computer programs describing new original research.rrA double-blind review process will be adopted. The conference will feature a mixture of oral presentations and poster sessions.rrThe eurogp conference is always a very enjoyable event offering excellent opportunities for networking, informal contact, exchange of ideas and discussions with fellow researchers in a friendly and relaxed setting.rrHigh quality papers are sought on topics strongly related to the evolution of computer programs, ranging from theoretical work to innovative applications.rrAreas of Interest and ContributionsrTopics include but are not limited to:rrTheoretical developmentsrEmpirical studies of GP performance and behaviourrAlgorithms, representations and operatorsrApplications of GP to real-life problemsrHybrid architectures including GP componentsrUnconventional evolvable computationrEvolutionary designrEvolutionary roboticsrGrammar-based GPrEvolvable hardwarerLinear GPrSelf-reproducing programsrEvolution of tree or graph structuresrEvolution of various classes of automata or machine (e.g. cellular automata, finite state machines, pushdown automata, Turing machines)rObject-oriented GPrPublication DetailsrAccepted papers will be presented orally or as posters at the Conference and will be printed in the proceedings published by Springer Verlag in the LNCS series.rPrevious editions of EuroGP were published in the Springer Verlag LNCS volumes 1598, 1802, 2038, 2278, 2610, 3003, 3447, 3905, 4445, 4971, 5481, 6021.rrThe papers which receive the best reviews will be nominated for the Best Paper Award.rrAuthors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended descriptions of their work to the Springer journal Genetic Programming and Evolvable Machines.rrSubmission DetailsrSubmissions must be original and not published elsewhere. The submissions will be peer reviewed by at least three members of the program committee. The authors of accepted papers will have to improve their paper on the basis of the reviewers’ comments and will be asked to send a camera ready version of their manuscripts. At least one author of each accepted work has to register for the conference and attend the conference and present the work.rrThe reviewing process will be double-blind, please omit information about the authors in the submitted paper.
