9BCH 2017 - 9th Biennial Conference on Hyperthermia. Theme: Hyperthermia- Introspection & Resurgence

Hyperthermia is a modality of treatment which has demonstrated effectiveness in treatment of cancer. The resurgence of interest along with the development of techniques for Hyperthermia delivery, immune-oncology, heat sensitive drug carriers, HIPEC, and HIFU have propelled hyperthermia to centre stage. The failure of many biological therapies to make any quantum leap has forced oncologists to introspect. India has been at a disadvantage due to lack of availability of technology even though hyperthermia played a critical role in ancient medical practice.
This convention aims to deliberate on scientific issues and initiate a dialogue with the industry to make this technology available to vast majority of Indians.
