Economic Journal of Emerging Markets (EJEM) is an open access, peer reviewed, and fully refereed journal published by Center for Economics Studies, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Indonesia. The main objective of EJEM is to provide a forum for scientific works concerning economic studies in emerging economies. EJEM aims to promote empirical studies in economics and thus become a leading international economics journal.
The journal publishes research papers in the all the fields of economics such as agricultural economics, banking and financial Institution, behavioral and experimental economics, demographic economics, development economics, development studies, econometrics, economics of the natural resources, economics of work and family, environmental economics, financial economics, fiscal studies, health economics, international economics, institutional economics, industrial economics, industrial relations, Islamic economics, finance and banking, labor economics, monetary economics, monetary policy, public economics, public finance, public policy, political economy, regional economics, urban and rural economics.
The journal indexing
EJEM is indexed in DOAJ, Google Scholar, Crossref, Indonesian Publication Index, and Indonesian Scientific Jurnal Database. Moreover the journal is under indexing process with EBSCO, Proquest, Thomson Reuters, OAJI, and ACI. All articles in EJEM has DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
EJEM is inviting papers for Vol. 9 No. 1 & 2 which is scheduled to be published on April and October, 2017. An early submission will get preference in case of review and publication process.
