CEE 2016 - National Seminar on “Indian Philosophical Foundation for Modern Education”

Confederation of Education Excellence (CEE) organised a National Seminar on “Indian Philosophical Foundation for Modern Education” on 3rd September 2016 at Crowne Plaza Hotel Rohini. It was attended by renowned delegates from the educational arena. The event was graced by the august presence of International Speakers, which included H.E. Milan Hovorka (Ambassador, Czech Republic to India), Former Ambassador Mr. Anil Trigunayat (Former Ambassador India to Jordan), Raja Dr. Jose Luis, Chief Patron (Foundation For Vedic Indian Corporation, Maharishi Vedic Universities).
The session commenced with the Welcome Address to all the dignitaries followed by the engrossing topics on education where in the limitations of the system were discussed at length. The session’s highlight was “Vedic Education: A Roadmap for Quality Education”. It was well applauded by the audience. Session covered the topic “Evolution of Indian Education and the present state” and Gurukul Siksha and Formal Education.
Some dignitaries, whose sessions received appreciation, were Dr. JM Dave (Director, DAPS Swaminarayan Research Institute, Delhi AksharDham), Prof. Dr. Abhimanyu Kumar (Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda Delhi) and Dr. Ajay Kumar Pandey, Principal Scientist ICAR. Their session emphasised on the amalgamation of Eastern Culture and Western Methods, Liberal thinking and overall advancement of science and technology by adding essence of Vedic education and ancient experience. The session highlighted issues of professional integrity, values, honest and social responsibility towards the needy people. The topic went so well elaborated that it touched the heart of everyone present explaining about the discontentment in this mad rat race of materialism.
The session was taken over by the gracious presence of Honorable Education Minister (Delhi) Sh. Manish Sisodia, who very well covered the topic with his ideas and vision, focusing the urgent need of Quality in Education at all levels. He accepted the facts that philosophical foundation can defiantly bring changes in the system. At the end the accomplished awardees across India were warmly felicitated by him.
The President of the Confederation Ms Shruti Arora concluded the session by addressing a generous vote of thanks to the august gathering. The session reached its finale with the mesmerising chanting performance of Sh. Keshav Murari Das, Temple President Iskcon Rohini.
Confederation aims to have 26 chapters across all states of India during the next three years. This Confederation has worked conscientiously as an excellent platform that provides educational solutions to suit individual requirements under one roof.
CEE seeks to embark a future for all the institutions and educationists and thus, create a niche in these changing times. This prestigious organisation endeavors to provide clear strategies based on existing government schemes and policies enhancing the prospects of the growing educational system in India.
