CICSE 2017 - III INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION

Organized by the Departament of Buildings Constructions I and the Higher Technical School of Architecture, from the University of Seville, under the direction of phD. M. PILAR MERCADER MOYANO, Professor of the Department, the International Congress on Sustainable Building and Eco-Efficient (CICSE) Solutions, will held its third International Edition in 2017.
In previous years, the Congress had established itself as a forum where scholars, researchers and professionals, mainly from the construction sector, in which multidisciplinary environmental information is shared, with the participation of the different areas of the construction process and in which the diffusion of innovation scientific works developed by research groups at universities is internationally promoted.
CICSE aims at finding innovative alternatives to conventional construction solutions that minimize the environmental impact construction, and improve the energy efficiency of buildings we design, build or refurbish, at an individual or neighborhood scale, from an optimal cost profitable over time.
The objetives of the congress pretends to response to the ones set in Horizon 2020, as well as to all those people who seek a more sustainable world and society.
This congress will highlight the best practices in existing cooperation between the different universities of Andalusia and Spain, Latin America, and many public and private companies and organizations joining to this initiative with a strong commitment to environment and society. It is due to all of this that the CICSE becomes an event from the field of construction responding to the objectives of sustainability and eco-efficiency with a high degree of involvement withing society.
