The Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries (EJISDC) strives to become the foremost international forum for practitioners, teachers, researchers and policy makers to share their knowledge and experience in the design, development, implementation, management and evaluation of information systems and technologies in developing countries.
We are pleased to announce this special Issue of papers for graduate students either from the PhD Track or from other conference tracks at the IFIP Working Group 9.4 13th International Conference on Social Implications of Computers in Developing Countries, Negombo, Sri Lanka. This special issue is only for PhD or other graduate students who presented a full paper at the conference. The special issue will accept
submissions from any of the subject areas in the scope of the conference.
Papers should be expanded to the normal EJISDC article length of around 8,000-10,000 words. This provides authors an opportunity to present findings and analysis in more detail than is possible in the conference paper format. Authors are to be cautious when combining separate studies into the paper to meet the expanded length requirements. The editors would prefer to see an expanded treatment of the accepted paper.
Submissions should follow the EJISDC submission guidelines. Submissions will be subject to full (though expedited) review by the EJISDC editorial team. In your cover letter, please specify that the paper is an 'Extended Version of a IFIP 9.4 Conference Paper'.
Submissions due by Oct 30th, 2015
